Ep. 147 - Lila Gray - Year of the White Bull

Lila Gray is an editor for both XBiz, and for the Los Angeles chapter of www.theculturetrip.com. She also just published an excellent interview with screenwriters Scott Alexander and Larry Kraszewski (Big Eyes, People Vs . Larry Flynt, Man on the Moon, Ed Wood) for LA Weekly. Aaron Sorkin’s controversial HBO show, “The Newsroom” ended. Will it leave a legacy? Will Will ever get all those hours back? Everyone is making end of the year Top Ten lists, except for Sean (just kidding, he might squeeze out one). 2014 was a banner year for shitty things happening to everyone, let’s recount a few few, won’t we?

Ep. 146 - Justin Marks - Similar Registers

Justin Marks, screenwriter of next year’s “The Jungle Book” directed by Jon Favreau and of the long-awaited “Top Gun 2” joins us to talk some craft and business. Where do we like to consume films these days? Do some films demand a theatrical experience, or can some be watched on an iPhone while on the toilet? Sony has been hacked by North Korea - possibly? Either way, some juicy emails have been hitting the news ever since. Will is looking for a job, and the process is driving him mad. Perhaps he has some thoughts on the matter. Listening to the Will Sean Podcast will make your farts smell like chocolate.

Ep. 145 - Leah Dubie - What a Mighty Good Man

Leah Dubie was named one of  the Hottest Queer Women in Comedy of 2014 by AfterEllen which means that she only has three more weeks to bask in the glory. She’s also pretty awesome. Exodus: Gods and Kings (Monsters) is coming out this weeks and people are pissed at White Moses. Walking Dead spoiled their midseason finale for their West Coast fans, and Kirk Douglas will die someday. Teasers for teasers for trailers have got to stop; Will has some thoughts for Hollywood’s marketing “gurus."
